Hello and thank you for visiting! If you are looking for design or portrait photography on or near the South Shore of Massachusetts, you’ve come to the right place! I began my love for photography in the late 90s, through shooting and developing in my high school darkroom. I later received my Bachelor of Arts in Business from Lynchburg College (now University) and moved back to Boston where I became Marketing Director for a largely successful Landscape Architecture & Civil Engineering firm. It was here that I observed landscape architectural photographers and reignited my love for the art.
I took time to start a family, but gradually began taking intensive digital photography classes at the New England School of Photography at Fenway and later Waltham. I was lucky enough to study under some amazing photographer’s in the Architectural, Portrait & Studio Photography disciplines. I registered my business and began formally serving landscape & portrait clients in 2017.
My work is largely passion-driven and fueled by the hope of delivering complex photographs that continue to engage and surprise the viewer. I consider it an honor to meet individuals and designers alike and witness, through my lens, the beauty that they are and/or that they have created.
Working as a landscape design photographer, I challenge myself on every project to honor the vision of the design in its entirety while leaving room for new angles and details that may yield the most broad translation of a site. I seek and welcome as much of the design story as a creator is willing to share.
As a portrait photographer, I have the utmost respect for my subjects. As someone who is not always comfortable in front of the camera myself, I do my best to put my clients at ease and to help them realize the inward and outward beauty they possess. I am patient. As long as we have the time, you’ll never catch me rushing a session. While there is always a certain amount of positioning and angling required, my best shots are the ones that blend professionalism with an individual’s natural confidence or personality.
